There certainly seems to be a lot of unrest and frustration with the economy, higher taxes and the increasing involvement of the government in our lives. There were the "Tea Parties" then the KFI Ken and John tax protest blocked the traffic for hours around Tom's Farms in south Corona.
Thursday 05-28-09 there was a protest of warehouse workers blocking the street. Blocking the intersection led to angry protesters and angry travelers clashing. There were fights and arrests were made. This happened in rural Mira Loma California. These protesters were not protesting taxes or tea parties. They were upset about job issues. There is a strong growing tide of upset Americans.
Am I the only one who hears the deafening silence from the liberal bias press about these things? It seems that there is more news coverage given to a boy who is the prom queen in a local high school or the protests of proposition 8 being held valid by the state court. . . Just a side note here about prop 8. Marriage has historically been a religious rite. Why is the state involved in religion. The state certainly can recognize a religious rite but it is not allowed (by the Constitution) to speak to it. Where are the outspoken advocates of seperation of Church and State in this issue? Again deafening silence from the DC crowd and their spokespeople, the U.S. news services. A free press in the clutches of the socialist idealogs.

Join in with those protesting government controlling every aspect of your life. You may not understand what the protesters are specifically saying. They are a diverse group. The D.C. crowd would have you believe they are a lunitic fringe.
Let's see who are the real radicals in our country. In less than six months, we have seen the banking industry and car industries pretty much nationalized. Just this week, Obama said that we must hurry to nationalize the healthcare system or the window of opportunity will close. . . does he fear the grassroots protesters?
For the youthful reader, these practices are very common when a dictator overthrows a private enterprise market country. These practices are very common in third world countries.
I am a real estate agent. At what point will Mr. B.O. decide that since the banks own so many of America's houses, we may as well nationalize housing. Whoa, crazy idea. Sure, just like nationalizing GM.
They are talking about putting a committee together to study how the economy got in the mess. It is not a mystery. Under President Bill Clinton, banks were told to ease up on credit restrictions so that poorer people could buy a home. Save the ruse of a committee. Bush did not stop the folly. ANY banker knows that you can not make the loans they were making without orders to do so from the top!
Do you think the idea of cancelling the national debt is off the table? Can you give me a more logical way of balancing the budget? And why is the darling of the poor and enemy of the rich so generous to the Wall street crowd yet cutting social security is on his watch not under Bush.
Only simple individuals believe that there is any Constitutional constraint in the mind of this administration. What authority does the U.S. President have to fire a private company's CEO? The same simple minds blamed Bush for being a power monger.
Yes those same simple people stand on the sidelines and ask, "What are these people so upset about?" Then in their simple minds they conclude, "It must be that they are just bitter because they lost the election." No it is not that the election was lost. It is that our country is being destroyed. The simple will fiddle while America burns!
Please help me understand what I missed in the presidential debates. Where were the questions about nationalizing the banks or other industries? Am I the only nave who believes this was from the start a hidden agenda? The socialist agenda was skillfully concealed during the election?
Am I the only person who sees that we have the chief executive of our country who is ashamed of our country. Our President is NOT proud to be an American. Can you imagine the president of any organization being embarrased by the company he leads?
And all of this being said, the press still asks, "What do these protesters want?"
We want a free America back!
